This week, the kids and parents at Village Co-Op Preschool went on their first field trip of the year. Mother Nature received the memo, providing us with sunshine and a delightfully seasonal fall backdrop for the kids’ exploration of the apple farm. The staff at Great Lakes Farms accommodated our group’s needs and educated the children about several varieties of apples. Following “story time,” the kids enjoyed the apple and cider “tasting.” Then the group expended some energy in the play area after we took a leisurely wagon-ride through the farm.
